Need for Communications
1. You, or any member of your organisation, needs to communicate with the driver on the road, and his cell-phone is switched off, its battery flat, or does not have a phone at all; OR
2. If you use radio technology in your vehicles, you or any member of your organisation needs to communicate PRIVATELY with the driver, without a fear that anyone switched to that radio frequency can eavesdrop the conversation; OR
3. The driver on the road needs to communicate with you or any member of your organisation to report about something, and does not have enough airtime on his private phone, or his private or the company cell-phone's battery is flat, or the driver does not have access to a phone at all.
Need for Remote Monitoring
1. Your driver travels in unfamiliar areas, and parks the vehicle to accomplish his respective task, only to come back to find the vehicle gone, with all the valuable information; OR
2. Your driver, yourself or any member of your organisation feels uneasy about where the vehicle is left or parked, and regularly goes out to check if it is still there, or if nothing has happened.
Need for Emergency Alerting means
1. During any emergency (such as an accident or a hijack), the driver wants to desperately make you or any member of your organisation aware. Upon being aware, you or that respective member of your organisation wants to know exactly what is happening inside the vehicle so |
|
that appropriate help can be summoned.
Need for Remote Controlling
1. Your organisation's vehicles are kept by the drivers overnight, and are abused. You or any member of your organisation in charge of managing the vehicles needs to ensure that vehicles cannot be used after being parked or after certain times, even when the driver has access to the keys; OR
2. One of your vehicles is stolen or hijacked. You want to know when this happens, and would like you, the driver or any member of your organisation to take non-confrontational action remotely (without relying entirely on third parties for action) to help to recover the vehicle.
Need for finding where the vehicles are
1. You or any member of your organisation needs to know where the vehicles are, or where a specific vehicle is, and the driver is not reachable; OR
2. You or any member of your organisation needs to dispatch one of the drivers on the road to a specific place, and would like to establish who is nearest or around that particular area; OR
3. You or any member of your organisation needs periodic and regular updates about where a particular vehicle is; OR
4. You or any member of your organisation needs to be alerted when a vehicle enters or leaves a particular area.
